With the GENIUS Project, it is aimed to measure the cognitive workload of the pilots/operators trained in the flight simulators currently in the Air Force Command inventory, to support the trained and training evaluations with scientific and objective methods and to carry out infrastructure studies for the personalization of the relevant simulator trainings.

With the project, neurophysiological data will be collected integrated with flight simulator data, analyzed and converted into useful information. By integrating the methods to be developed within the scope of the project into the simulators, the knowledge, experience and technology infrastructure that will allow the development of neurophysiology-based, user-centered new generation flight simulators and the infrastructure that can provide advantages in the design of the next generation human-machine interfaces (cockpit, command control, launch pads, etc.) is targeted.

The ongoing project is expected to be completed by the end of 2022.
