Motion Capture Laboratory

Motion Capture System (Mo-Cap) is the technology that can record human motions and model that motions into realistic animations in computer environment. The Mo-Cap system in MODSIMMER performs the motion capturing by 8 optical cameras. Each camera has 1300x3600 resolution and the motion capture speed is 480 fps.

The system is extendible up to 48 cameras. The data to be processed is captured by the cameras and it is transferred to the server through Ethernet. The latency of the transferring process is less than 10 ms.

Detailed information about the Mo-Cap system can be found here.
